This year’s GT Tested Reader Survey awards, held in Coral Gables, Florida, celebrates leaders in the travel industry as voted by readers. In addition to these accolades, several winners achieved a new status for consistently providing top-notch service and products to travelers year after year, a difficult feat to carry out in one year, let alone across many. Global Traveler awards recipients with Quint Status for five consecutive years of winning in the same category.

This year, two recipients earned this status. Hall of Fame status recognizes those winning in the same category for 10 consecutive years; many winning brands this year are eyeing this status for 2026.

Three recipients achieved Crystal Status this year for topping their categories 15 years in a row. Last year IHG One Rewards earned Global Traveler’s first-ever Platinum Award (20 consecutive years) for the Best Hotel Rewards Program in the World. The rewards program now surpasses Platinum Status with its 21st consecutive win in this category this year.

TAP Air Portugal earns Crystal Status this year as Best Airline in Europe for the 15th year in a row. The Portuguese airline continues to grow, not only in its services and routes but also in its amenities and cabins. This year alone the airline launched three new routes from the United States, ranked in the top 25 safest airlines in the world according to Airline Ratings, and celebrated 80 years of service.

Winning Best Hotel in the United States for 15 consecutive years, The Peninsula Beverly Hills also attains Crystal Status. An icon in the luxury hospitality scene in Los Angeles, this 5-star property has won the hearts of travelers and locals over the years thanks to its elegant guestrooms and suites, massive spa, three restaurants, and upscale bar.

The third winner to achieve Crystal Status, Fiesta Americana Travelty Collection takes the Best Hotel Chain in Mexico award for the 15th year in a row, a reflection of its many successes this year across both its brand and leadership. Enrique Calderón Fernández, COO, vice president, Grupo Posadas, the leading hospitality group behind Fiesta Americana Travelty, was recognized as Best Hotel Industry Leader in our 2025 Industry Leader Awards. The brand saw tremendous growth in Mexico and beyond this year and boasted higher-than-average room occupancy rates than competitors.

In the Quint Status arena, Hertz receives its fifth consecutive win for Best Rental Car Company. Earlier this year the rental car brand received its eighth consecutive win as Best Leisure Car Rental at our 2025 Leisure Lifestyle Awards.
