As the capital of the Dutch island of Aruba, Oranjestad makes for a popular vacation destination filled with historical sites, beautiful beaches, hot shopping spots and many more treasures. Renowned for its year-round sunny weather, Aruba remains a premier cruise destination; cruise ships dock in downtown Oranjestad.
GETTING THERE & AROUND

Frequent and direct flights arrive from major U.S. cities. Airline carriers include American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, United Airlines, JetBlue and Southwest. While there, travelers should take advantage of public transportation such as the free trolley or Arubus. Downtown Oranjestad is also walkable, but taxis are plentiful.
