Fans of the popular, Emmy Award-winning HBO series Game of Thrones can immerse themselves in GAME OF THRONES: The Touring Exhibition, an impressive new experience in Northern Ireland at TEC Belfast, April 11–Sept. 1.
Visitors can plunge themselves into the story of the Seven Kingdoms via the winterscapes of the North, down the path leading to the Kingsroad, enter the House of Black and White, engage in battle for the Iron Throne, and explore the settings of Kings Landing and of Castle Black where the Night’s Watch is based.
The imaginary lands of Westeros and Essos provide the setting and context for the ongoing struggle to survive under the Iron Throne. The exhibition will precede the airing of season eight, and provides a fascinating insight in to the costumes (including those worn by members of the House Targaryen), authentic props, set decorations and details used to create the imaginative world, first brought to life in the books by author George R. R. Martin. It’s the largest public exhibition, so far, and occupies an area of Titanic Studios where the filming of the series spanned a decade.
