You’ll find G Hotel Kelawai in Malaysia within the city of Georgetown, on the island of Penang. Because of the hotel’s urban and sophisticated atmosphere, and Georgetown’s population of 2.84 million residents, the property draws many Malaysian and international business executives, as well as upscale leisure guests. In other words, G Hotel Kelawai is part of a fascinating and colorful area of Malaysia for doing business or just relaxing and having fun.

The modern, 24-story building opened in 2015, offering 208 spacious guestrooms and suites; a rooftop infinity pool; three food and beverage outlets, including a rooftop bar; a 24-hour gym; an executive lounge; state-of-the-art function rooms; and a free, two-story underground parking garage.
To address Malaysia’s hot and humid year-round climate, and to operate a high-occupancy building, the hotel’s architects (K2LD Architects) enveloped the building’s interior within a double layered “skin,” meaning the outer skin is a sun-shading screen made of durable and easily recyclable aluminum, with hollow sections on the podium and expanded mesh on the tower component.

The dining experience is a highlight of the property; whether it’s breakfast, lunch, dinner or drinks, the variety and quality of the food options is impressive. The 2PM dining venue operates 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. with indoor and outdoor seating available. Spoon café offers a variety of cuisines, from breakfast or brunch to lunch or dinner (6 a.m.–11 p.m). Gravity Rooftop Bar, on the 24th floor, is open from noon to 1 a.m., complete with daily offerings of food and drink, stunning views, music, and its own pool-top bar.

Cape Town is not only one of the capitals of South Africa but also the oldest city in the country. Cape Town hugs the Port of Cape Town in Table Bay, extending to the Hottentots Holland Mountains. The city endured years of segregation during apartheid, including uprisings. Today the city continues to rebound in a post-apartheid era, with many major companies headquartered in the city center, popular beaches teeming with visitors in warmer months, engaging museums and aquariums, and a thriving tourist industry promoting the city’s culture and natural beauty.

Jul 16, 2025Hotel Saint Augustine Review
Blending with its Montrose neighborhood like the indigenous and cultivated plants hugging the property’s walkways, the newly built Hotel Saint Augustine opened mid-January 2025. The first Bunkhouse hotel in Houston, Texas, is easily mistaken for garden apartments. Seventy-one guest rooms and suites encompass a tree-lined block. The hotel’s buildings are only two stories tall and also house a lobby, lounge, restaurant and event space. Tucked into a corner of the grounds sits a circular outdoor pool.

Arizona’s capital and most populous city basks beneath the sun year-round, boasting Jack Nicklaus-designed golf courses, major sports teams, luxury spas and lively nightclubs. The city lies within the Salt River Valley along the northern reaches of the Sonoran Desert, making for dramatic mountain views and vast desert landscapes beyond. The city itself comprises 15 urban villages, many tracing roots to historical communities. Despite brutally hot summers, various experiences and sites in and around the city combat the heat, such as tubing and kayaking on the Salt River, swimming in any of the city’s six lakes, taking a moonlight hike, or floating in one of a number of the city’s upscale hotel pools.
