Finnair and Singapore-based Jetstar Asia signed a codeshare agreement providing Finnish customers additional destination choices and departure times across Asia and Australia. From Dec. 15, Finnair customers will be able to travel on codeshare services operated by Jetstar Asia to and from its Singapore (SIN) hub. Under the terms of the new agreement, customers will benefit from the convenience of a single-ticket itinerary, including Finnair’s baggage allowance. Passengers will also enjoy a seamless transfer at Singapore, with through-checked baggage and onward boarding passes received at the initial departure point. Finnair’s code will be added to Jetstar Asia’s flights between Singapore as well as Penang (PEN) and Kuala Lumpur (KUL) in Malaysia, Ho Chi Minh (SGN) in Vietnam, Phuket in Thailand and Perth (PER) and Darwin (DRW) in Australia.
