Celebrate Festival Napa Valley’s 20th anniversary this year, July 4–19, complete with international stars and up-and-coming talents.

“Over the past two decades, Festival Napa Valley has grown into one of the world’s premier celebrations of music, art, and culture, bringing extraordinary talent to one of the planet’s most inspiring destinations,” said Steven Stull, chairman, Festival Napa Valley Board of Directors. “We look forward to welcoming guests from near and far as we commemorate this landmark year.”

Highlights of the festival include:

World Premieres

The world premiere of The Judgement of Paris, a new opera by Jake Heggie and Gene Scheer, will occur during the festival. Kent Nagano will conduct and Jean-Romain Vesperini directs, with stars including Danielle De Niese (soprano), Quinn Kelsey (baritone), Nicholas Phan (tenor), Simone McIntosh (mezzo-soprano), Brenda Rae (soprano) and Fellows from Manetti Shrem Opera Program.

Music and Wellness Summit

Renée Fleming returns as keynote speaker for the Music and Wellness Summit and as headliner of Voice of Nature: The Anthropocene.

Performing Arts

Enjoy performances such as A Night at the Ballet: From Swan Lake to The Stones, directed by Live Arts Global’s Melanie Hamrick, and a performance of Opera Scenes with Manetti Shrem Opera Fellows.

Various Events

Other events include an Olivia Decker Power of Music Concert, Uytengsu Family Opening Night, a tribute to Luciano Pavarotti as part of Maria Manetti Celebrates La Dolce Vita!, a Grand Cru performance with violinist Ray Chen and pianist Jean-Yves Thibaudet, a swinging concert with LMR Jazz Orchestra, and a Symphonic Finale honoring America’s 250th anniversary.
