One of Marriott’s luxury brands is planning a substantial expansion, including properties in Asia and the Middle East.
The new hotels, in Tokyo and Dubai, come with the brand’s international strategy for expansion. A new property is also planned for Reykjavík, Iceland. Once all three properties open, the brand will have 13 in its portfolio.
EDITION currently has two properties in the Asia-Pacific region. Tokyo EDITION Toranomon will be the first to open in Japan. The brand brings its footprint to the Middle East with the Dubai EDITION. The hotels are expected to open their doors sometime this year, and although unannounced, more are planned for 2021.
The Tokyo EDITION, Toranomon brings 205 rooms, four food and drink venues, dedicated meeting spaces, spa, swimming pool and fitness centre. The Dubai EDITION has 210 rooms and suites, seven restaurants, pool deck dining, spa, fitness centre and much more.
Keep an eye out for these hotels as they begin to open this year.
