Delta Air Lines grew nearly 25 percent in Boston over the past year. The airline continues to expand with new non-stop services to Pittsburgh (PIT) and New Orleans (MSY) this fall.
Beginning Oct. 1, Delta will operate twice-daily, non-stop flights to Pittsburgh, and seasonal service to New Orleans will start Feb. 10, 2018. With the new routes, Delta and its partners will serve a total of 47 destinations worldwide from Boston, including non-stop flights to London (LHR), Amsterdam (AMD), Paris (CDG) and Dublin (DUB).
“Delta is committed to becoming Boston’s global carrier of choice, and we continue to invest in Boston with our new Pittsburgh and New Orleans service for business and leisure customers,” said Joe Esposito, vice president — network planning, Americas, Delta. “Boston continues to play a larger role in Delta’s overall network, and we will continue to invest in new service important to Bostonians.”
The new flights offer a schedule convenient for business travelers in both cities. The first flight to Pittsburgh will depart Boston at 8:10 a.m. and arrive at 9:55 a.m. The second daily flight will depart Boston at 7:55 p.m. and arrive in Pittsburgh at 9:45 p.m.
Non-stop, seasonal service to New Orleans will operate on Saturday and Sunday Feb. 10–April 1, 2018, to meet strong leisure demand.
