Delta Air Lines started selling its new Delta One and Delta Premium Select products, due to debut on the airline’s Airbus A350 aircraft on Northeast Asia routes in the fourth quarter of this year.
The new A350 Delta One Suites will include flat-bed seats with direct-aisle access; full-height sliding doors; dividers between centre suites; storage compartments for shoes, headphones and laptops; in-flight entertainment; USB ports and outlets; and more.
Passengers in the premium-economy cabin can also enjoy Delta’s Sky Priority service, including faster check-in, security screening, boarding and baggage services.
The A350s featuring the new products will be introduced on the Detroit (DTW)–Tokyo (NRT) route on Oct. 30, followed by the Detroit–Seoul (ICN) route in November and the Detroit–Beijing (PEK) route in January 2018.
The new fleet of long-range A350s will operate primarily on trans-Pacific routes between the United States and Asia, replacing its fleet of Boeing 747s. Following its debut on the A350, the Delta One cabin will be introduced on Delta’s Boeing 777 fleet.
