As travelers prepare for summer getaways, Delta Air Lines will dish out seasonally inspired food and beverage offerings on board.
The new options, launching June 1, are part of Delta’s culinary strategy to regularly offer something new so even the most seasoned travelers can enjoy a refreshed menu.
Customers flying in Delta One, including transcontinental flights between New York (JFK), Los Angeles (LAX) and San Francisco (SFO); Washington, D.C. (DCA) and Boston (BOS); and Boston and San Francisco will enjoy the new summer menu.
Depending on the destination, menus feature culinary creations by Delta’s in-house chef Linton Hopkins and select chefs from Union Square Hospitality Group. Hopkins’ summer menu pays tribute to the American South, with highlights including peppered bistro steak, roasted chicken, Chesapeake Bay crab cakes and Storico Fresco spring smoked eggplant ravioli.
Also beginning June 1, Delta will offer sparkling wine and rosé for all customers traveling in North America. Customers traveling in first class and Delta Comfort+ can enjoy complimentary Prosecco, while main-cabin customers can purchase either Avissi or La Marca Prosecco and Château du Puget rosé.
