A joint cooperation agreement between Delta Air Lines and Aeromexico marks an important trans-border alliance between Mexico and the United States, providing customers with substantial benefits in both nations.

Once the agreement process is complete, it will allow the airlines to coordinate efforts to enhance the travel experience with expanded destinations and frequencies and improved connecting schedules and operations. The agreement also benefits employees, as the partnership will mean growth of services and jobs for the two airlines. In addition, it will allow the airlines to co-locate and invest in airport facilities by improving gates and lounges.
