Ride & Seek, a global adventure cycling company, announced a new historical adventure taking travelers through the nature and majesty of Hokkaido, Japan’s northernmost island. Hokkaido – Japan’s Last Frontier is a 14-day journey exploring routes highlighting Japan’s most pure and untouched land. Travelers ride along vast forests and plains, beautiful coastlines, high peaks, and volcanic landscapes mixed with stays in Japanese inns and Western-style hotels. The tour also includes traditional cuisine and stops at natural hot springs.

Highlights of the tour include crossing Tokachi Plain, learning about Indigenous Ainu culture and cycling through flower fields while viewing stunning vistas of Daisetsuzan National Park; embarking on a high-altitude adventure along Niseko’s Panorama Line and the volcanic calderas of Lakes Toya and Shikots; biking along the coast of the Shakotan Peninsula, famous for its crystal-blue waters and delicious seafood; relaxing in the mineral-rich waters of Shirogane Onsen; experiencing the steaming geothermal landscapes of Noboritbetsu; and tasting the essence of Japan’s breadbasket with cuisine like miso ramen, sushi and sea urchin.

The tour includes all accommodations, breakfasts, group dinners, most lunches, snacks, a Ride & Seek kit, a water bottle, a GPS with preloaded routes, knowledgeable guides and airport transfers.
