Cunard recently announced a partnership with Orange County, California’s, Pacific Symphony; the cruise line will be the exclusive sponsor of the organization’s premier Box Circle Club. As the official cruise line of the symphony, Cunard also supports the organization’s mission to engage, inspire and serve the community through performances, education and community programming. The cruise line and the symphony have matching visions and credos to lead a classical music renaissance and provide elegant and distinctive experiences.
Pacific Symphony began as a collaboration between California State University, Fullerton and North Orange County community leaders in the late 1970s. In its 43rd season, Pacific Symphony is the largest orchestra formed in the United States in the last 50 years. Cunard, meanwhile, has long supported classical music by highlighting musical ensembles yearly on Queen Mary 2.

The new partnership allows West Coast cruise and classical music fans to learn more about Cunard, currently enhancing its schedule in North America with Queen Elizabeth sailing north through Los Angeles en route to Alaska in May, with her second Alaska season starting in June 2022.
