Cunard recently announced designs for all accommodations on its newest ship, Queen Anne, the line’s 249^thship. Expected to launch in early 2024, its maiden season itineraries were also recently announced.

Designers David Collins Studios, Richmond International and Sybille De Margerie drew from influential designs of both the past and present, under creative director Adam D. Tihany. Five pillars became the DNA of the ship: heritage, craftmanship, storytelling, style and innovation. The team immersed themselves in the Cunard Archives to reinterpret Cunard Art Deco design.

Each stateroom category on Queen Anne boasts its own design and direction. Britannia cabins highlight the deep blue of the ocean with flashes of gold. Bespoke wall coverings draw from the Cunard crest and laurel. In the Princess Grill suites, find Cunard red with gold tones and wood furnishings. The Queens Grill suites follow a bolder design of purple and wood. Grand and Master suites boast subtle shades of green, purple, taupe and grey, with wood and marble accents and black-and-white pictures in the bathroom document the ship’s construction.

Cunard’s tradition of honoring each Queen Regnant over the last millennium continues with the Queen Anne name joining Queen Mary, Queen Victoria and Queen Mary.
