Europe’s spa-going crowd continues to make the healing thermal waters of Italy’s Adler Thermae Resort & Spa a hot destination. A full menu of massages is available, and unique therapies include couple’s bathing sessions in a private seawater grotto. Elegant guestrooms feature outdoor patios, while breakfast and dinner are taken in the glass-ceiling dining room, rolled back to the open sky when the weather allows. During the afternoon tea buffet, sample a sumptuous Tuscan pastry while savoring views of the ruins of a nearby castle. 

Couples can enjoy a special Enjoy Tuscany getaway through Dec. 22. The four–seven-night escape includes the Adler Luxury Aetos Ritual treatment for two, with a detoxifying peel, soothing grape seed oil massage and a sweet soak in a blend of thermal mineral waters and Tuscan red wine. The treatment concludes with a glass of Aetos Rosé and wine-aged pecorino cheese. The themed escape also includes a morning cooking class taught by an area home chef, which takes place at the hotel’s own hilltop winery. The class also includes a cellar tasting with cheeses and meats. Prices begin at approximately $1,100 per person.
