Corinthia Hotels deepens its Italian presence with Corinthia Lake Como, a 58-key luxury resort slated to open in 2028 in Menaggio. The upscale hotel will sit adjacent to one of Italy’s oldest golf courses and will be anchored by a lakefront beach club.
Sticking to Corinthia’s approach, the hotel will blend restored historic architecture with elevated wellness, dining and outdoor living. Amenities planned for the property include a spa; three branded residences; three villas housing the lobby, lounge and golf club; lakefront club providing direct access to the water at the widest part of the lake; and guestrooms and suites discreetly settled into the natural contours of the land.

The hotel will be the brand’s second in Italy after Corinthia Rome, opening this February. Construction of Corinthia Lake Como, in partnership with RoundShield and Kervis SGR, will begin following final planning approvals.

Please enjoy the Wave Issue, our cruising special for the first half of 2026. Cruising is booming, and travelers cannot get enough of it. I just returned from a fantastic trip on Regent Seven Seas Mariner with a group of Globility Board members and other Global Traveler subscribers. We departed from İstanbul and made our way through the Dardanelles Strait, connecting the Sea of Marmara to the Aegean. From there we entered the Mediterranean. The ship made interesting stops in Greece, Montenegro and Croatia before docking in Trieste. Please read my GT Tested review of Seven Seas Mariner in this issue.
