Ahead of the holiday season, Copa Airlines offers a unique Panama Stopover program. The program, under the airline’s greater initiative with Panama Tourism Authority and PROMTUR Panama, gives passengers the chance to stay in Panama for up to seven days at no additional airfare.

Copa Airlines passengers transiting through the Hub of the Americas in Panama can extend their stay in the country, using the connection to explore the country’s many attractions. Through the program, travelers also enjoy exclusive discounts from Copa Airlines’ partners, including top hotels, restaurants, activities and tours.

“With this new phase of the Panama Stopover program, we reaffirm our commitment to making Panama an even more attractive destination for international travelers. The Hub of the Americas in Tocumen remains the main connectivity point in the region, and together with PROMTUR Panama, we are expanding our country’s tourism promotion to other key markets. With this campaign, we aim to have more visitors discover the cultural and natural wealth of Panama and contribute to the country’s economic development,” said Marco Ocando, chief marketing officer, communications, Frequent Flyer Program, Copa Airlines.

The stopover program was originally launched in 2019, with a greater push now leading up to the 2025 holiday season.
