Hilton recently announced the opening of Conrad Chongqing, in the heart of the Nan’an District and nearby natural attractions. Housed in the Jiafa Cross-Border Trade Center, Cheng Chung Design, based in Hong Kong, designed the hotel and drew inspiration from Chongqing’s mountainous cityscape and surrounding nature.
“The debut of Conrad Chongqing holds special significance as Hilton’s 700th hotel in the Greater China region, where we continue to lead the industry as the fastest growing international hotel company and are better positioned than ever to extend our signature hospitality to even more destinations here,” said Alan Watts, president, Asia Pacific, Hilton.
Conrad Chongqing sits near the city’s convention center and features bold design, like the lobby’s 3-D artwork. Its 275 guestrooms include 26 suites and span floors 38–55. Décor boasts tones of cream and grey, complemented by floor-to-ceiling windows. Dining outlets include YU Chinese Restaurant, The PEAK and MIST Lobby Bar, as well as 3652, a hidden speakeasy. Conrad Chongqing is also home to almost 3,000 square meters of pillarless meetings and event space.
“The opening of Conrad Chongqing represents a significant milestone in Conrad Hotels & Resorts’ continued expansion across China,” said Dino Michael, senior vice president and global head, Hilton Luxury Brands. “This hotel not only exemplifies the essence of Conrad Hotels & Resorts by offering a sophisticated blend of contemporary luxury and local culture but also underscores our unwavering commitment to providing exceptional experiences in key destinations worldwide. Guests will discover a truly unique and immersive connection to the vibrant spirit of Chongqing.”
Hilton Honors members who book directly through preferred Hilton channels earn an additional 1,000 Bonus Points per night at Conrad Chongqing for stays through Jan. 31, 2025.

Here, valleys, the world’s tallest palms, vibrant communities, colorful houses, garden-like balconies and more prove reality is more picturesque than anything on film. And it’s especially more tempting following Medellín’s remarkable transformation, shedding its troubled past and reawakening as a city of innovation, art, cultural richness, modern infrastructure, thriving tourism and resiliency.
