Club Med prepares for the approaching ski season with some exciting new mountain resorts and offerings for travelers to enjoy. Three new mountain resorts open this December, further establishing Club Med as the leading global ski operator. In addition to these openings, Club Med launched an exclusive offer just in time for ski season.
Two of the new resorts, Club Med Tignes and Club Med Val d’Isère, lie in the French Alps. Slated to open this December, Club Med Tignes will soon serve as the center of the liveliest part of town. The 430-room resort will feature 25 Exclusive Collection suites, two restaurants, a full spa, a wellness salt wall and ski-in/ski-out access. The property will also boast the largest indoor pool in the Alps.
Also in the French Alps, Club Med Val d’Isère plans to reopen this winter following a complete transformation. The opening will mark the brand’s first Exclusive Collection mountain resort. This title means guests enjoy personalized and elevated service, including nightly Champagne and a dedicated on-site team. With 216 brand-new rooms featuring luxury fixtures and finishes, Club Med Val d’Isère redefines mountain luxury. In addition to ski-in/ski out access, the property includes gourmet dining and a spa and yoga program.
The third new Club Med resort coming this winter arrives in Hokkaido, Japan. Club Med Kiroro comprises 400 spacious rooms, providing guests with a one-of-a-kind experience in one of the most coveted ski destinations in the world. Club Med Kiroro offers ski-in/ski-out access to an untouched ski domain with 23 courses, as well as activities like snowboarding lessons, group ski and snowshoe hikes. Inside the resort, guests find nature centers, a gallery showcasing local artists’ works, wineries, bakeries and local breweries.
Coinciding with the news of these new resorts opening this December, Club Med’s Ski Getaways Sale offers guests up to 45 percent off all-inclusive mountain escapes in Canada and the Alps. The offer is open for bookings now through Oct. 12, for travels Dec. 2–April 9, 2023, for Club Med Québec and Nov. 20–May 6, 2023, for Club Med resorts in the Alps.
With the sale, guests enjoy great savings along with a worry-free experience. The offer plans everything, from the accommodations to the lift tickets to group ski and snowboard lessons.

In front of an audience of 30,000 Kingdom of Bhutan residents and officials, His Majesty King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck presented his vision for a new economic hub in Bhutan. Located between India to the south and China to the north, Bhutan is one of the most beautiful destinations in the world. Bhutan came late to global tourism.
