China Airlines introduces a fleet of brand-new Boeing 787 passenger aircraft, complete with a revamped cabin design. The premium-economy cabin aboard the China Airlines 787 is inspired by the theme of Starlit Mountain City, fusing local culture and technology.

The all-new 787 features 28 seats in premium economy in a 2-3-2 configuration. Metallic chrome detailing paired with warm leather textures creates a balance between warmth and contemporary technology. Each seat also comes with an exclusive six-way headrest with integrated surround shielding, providing travelers with privacy and comfort, while a leather footrest under the seat enhances comfort on long-haul flights.

Tray tables remain the iconic persimmon wood grain inspired by traditional Taiwanese symbolism associated with prosperity and fulfillment, and it also comes with an anti-slip surface. A personal entertainment system is equipped with a 15.6-inch, 4-K, high-definition display, with Bluetooth connectivity for smart devices also supported, marking an industry first to allow mobile phones and tablets to be used to control the in-flight entertainment system.

Each seat comes with a rose gold reading lamp.
