Charleston, South Carolina, soon welcomes its newest boutique hotel, The Palmetto, to its historic French Quarter. Just steps from the city’s best restaurants and bars, The Palmetto exudes effortless luxury through meticulously curated décor and reinvented antiques.
Curated, original artwork by Charleston-based artists from the early 20th century adorn the hotel’s walls, serving as a contrast to custom contemporary pieces added throughout the property. Room amenities include Bamford toiletries, a minibar, custom-embroidered robes, a Nespresso machine, flat-screen television, plush slippers and more. Rooms range from deluxe king to premium king balcony to penthouse.
Guests of the new hotel will also enjoy valet parking, custom bicycles, 24/7 front desk and concierge services, free WiFi, access to a nearby fitness center, nightly turn-down service and daily continental breakfast. In the lobby, a bar awaits to welcome guests with a custom craft cocktail menu highlighting fresh ingredients, as well as a menu of light bites.
The 45-room hotel plans to feature a full calendar of activations and partnerships to further immerse guests in the city’s culture. One partnership already in the works is with Slightly North of Broad, a beloved eatery located near the hotel.

Nov 7, 2024Embrace the Aloha Spirit on a Cruise to Hawai‘i
To say the Islands of Hawai‘i have long attracted travelers is an understatement. Fifteen hundred years ago, guided only by the stars, Polynesians crossed the Pacific Ocean and first set foot on the islands. Since then, European explorers, missionaries and businessmen discovered the islands in the late 1700s into the 1800s, each arriving with their own agendas. Tourism in Hawai‘i as we know it today began in the 1860s when Kīlauea, an active volcano on the Island of Hawai‘i, was considered a top destination for adventure travelers of the time.
