Luxury Santorini-based hospitality brand Canaves Collection recently announced a new program, Harvest & Heritage. Available for the 2026 season, the immersive program connects guests with local artisans and guides for an authentic experience of the Greek island.
Experiences include:
Archaeological and Culinary Tour
Native Santorinian Eugenia Liodaki brings guests through some of the island’s most iconic sites with stops for local delicacies along the way.
Hands-on Clay Workshops
Visit a working ceramics studio for a hands-on pottery session. Led by fourth-generation potter Andreas Makaris, the sessions cover clay fundamentals with hands-on instruction. Workshops are conducted in Greek, with translation throughout, for an authentic experience.
Field-to-Table Cooking Class
Take part in a traditional cooking class at Aroma Avlis restaurant at Artemis Karamolegos Winery. Utilize ingredients from the estate and surrounding farms to craft classic Greek dishes.
Private Photography Session
Join a photographer from family-run photography studio Kapetanakis Studios on a bespoke photography class visiting hidden gem locations. Schedule the experience to make the most of lighting conditions.
Sea-to-Table Culinary Journey
Local seafarer Konstantinos “Kostas” Papalexopoulos guides guests along the Aegean Sea to Armeni Restaurant, a Santorini institution. Upon arrival, guests witness fishermen delivering the day’s fresh catch. Select a fish and watch the chefs prepare your meal.
Harvest & Heritage is available across Canaves Collection’s four properties: Canaves Ena, Canaves Oia Suites, Canaves Sunday and Canaves Epitome.
