Brussels Airlines invests in improved on-board experiences and products across all cabins, with premium economy set to receive the biggest upgrades. The enhancements will come on both short- and long-haul flights.
The airline will add improved tableware and more meal options to its premium-economy cabin, as well as a more refined service flow. Premium-economy passengers will receive three choices of hot meals during main meal service, as well as paper card menus, improved headphones for in-flight entertainment and an enhanced starter. These improvements will roll out throughout 2026, with new tableware debuting in mid-March.
Business-class flights departing from Brussels (BRU) now enjoy a culinary experience crafted by double-Michelin-starred chef Glen Verhasselt. Since this year, flights departing from the airline’s African destinations also feature African-inspired dishes.
Additionally, all passengers traveling on Brussels Airlines will find product improvements in the coming months, including an extra food component on the main meal tray in economy class on long-haul flights; reusable premium cups for alcoholic beverages in economy class on short- and long-haul flights; fresh towels and a bottle of water before take-off on short-haul business class; and a curtain divider between business class and economy class on short-haul flights.
The airline previously announced a full renovation of THE LOFT, the award-winning lounge in Brussels, as well as free WiFi for all passengers and brand-new cabins on its long-haul fleet.
