British Airways recently reopened its lounge at Geneva International Airport following extensive refurbishments and an expansion.

The new lounge centers around a lobby bar, where a variety of drinks are available. Self-serve Prosecco is available throughout the lounge. A separate seating area provides a quiet spot to recharge, relax or work, with plentiful power outlets and seating. A craft beer room is open to guests for tastings. New catering offerings include warm sandwiches, soups, fruit, cheeses and sweets. There are two new coffee bars.

The lounge is broken into zones, with each zone making use of separate music and lighting to best fit guests’ moods and the time of day.

“We know the difference our lounges make to our customers and we’re delighted to present the next step in our significant customer investment with the refurbished Geneva lounge,” said Carolina Martinoli, director of brand and customer experience, British Airways. “Every detail has been carefully considered and we’ve created a space to meet our customers’ needs — whether they want to relax with a hot meal, enjoy a drink at the lobby bar or explore some craft ales, the new lounge is guaranteed to please pre-flight.”

The lounge is one of several to re-open this year with British Airways’ new lounge design.
