British Airways plans to deploy its Airbus A380 on daily service between Singapore’s Changi Airport and London Heathrow Airport later this month. The A380 service will temporarily serve the route daily from Nov. 20 before switching service to three times per week Dec. 25, 2015–Feb. 24, 2016. After scheduled maintenance, the A380 daily service will resume on the route from Feb. 25, 2016.
“The A380 is the largest aircraft in our fleet that is designed with the modern standard of comfort. Since its inaugural flight on the route last October, it has proven to be really popular with our customers here and we are very pleased to be extending the service to daily,” said Robert Williams, head of Asia Pacific Sales, British Airways. “The start of the daily service also means that all British Airways aircraft departing Singapore will now feature our latest cabin products, ensuring customers travelling from Singapore to both London and Sydney do so in absolute style and comfort.”
