While quarantined at home, going to the mailbox is climbing the list of exciting activities in my day. There’s rarely anything good, but the act of finding out can be the highlight of the afternoon — especially when there’s a subscription box waiting.
My first Women’s Collective subscription box instantly brightened my day — literally and figuratively — with the delightfully colored designs on the exterior and fun products and accessories filling the interior.
Curated for women, by women, each box contains items from female-owned shops and entrepreneurs — all in line with the company’s initiative of empowering women in commerce while giving back to small businesses.
The Spring 2020 Women’s Collective Box includes a pair of female artisan-made earrings (white geometric shapes), a vegan leather credit-card wallet, an all-natural clay face mask, a minimalist-style planner and custom soy candle — exclusively made for The Women’s Collective.
Five percent of the company’s proceeds go toward helping up-and-coming female entrepreneurs get ideas off the ground, so subscribers can feel good about supporting like-minded women in a fun way.
Individual boxes contain up to $200 worth of goods and are priced at $54.95 per quarter. Customers can pay for an annual subscription and get a discount amounting to $49.95 per box.
