Over the past weekend my family and I went to one of our favorite spots in the area, Tonelli’s Pizza Pub. This is not one of our favorites for the pizza nor because of the famous cheesesteaks but because of a special item on the menu we always get — the nachos.
The trip to Tonelli’s is a long one, so my family only goes for a special occasion. Last weekend we celebrated my birthday, so it was the perfect option. Obviously, we were all happy we made the trip and had a great meal as a family. We caught up, talked about our weeks and how everything is going.
Luckily, my family is accommodating, so they did not tell the restaurant it was my birthday, as was my request. The nachos were not as good as the last time, but they were still a special treat.
I had a great birthday at Tonelli’s and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys bar food.
