A recent survey by CitiesBeautiful.org, a website focused on surveying urban destinations, compared responses from individuals from around the world, determining the cities they found most beautiful.
Based on the responses, participants discussed 25 cities on six continents and broke down their own demographic profile. The data concluded that, concerning gender, the differences in the opinions of men and women were statistically significant.
According to the study, women find cities such as Sydney, Budapest, Vancouver and Prague the most beautiful. Compared to the responses by male participants, it seems men find cities like Fez, Athens, Hong Kong and Chicago the most beautiful. There also seemed to be a significant difference between English-speaking and Spanish-speaking individuals in the survey.
A few destinations men and women could both agree on: Rio de Janeiro, San Francisco, Jerusalem and Kyoto are deemed of equal beauty to both sexes surveyed.
