Azamara Cruises recently introduced a revamped global reservation system, RezA, which will enhance the booking experience for travel advisors. The new system comes as part of the cruise line’s “Listening, Learning, and Linking” initiative with its travel partners.
RezA will make it easier for travel advisors to manage reservations and streamline the process of selling Azamara’s cruises. Its name was chosen in a Name It to Win It contest inviting travel advisors to suggest names for the platform. The more than 500 entries were whittled down to eight finalists before RezAmara, then shortened to RezA, was selected.

“We never stop looking for ways to better support our travel advisors, and are confident that this update reflects their feedback and this commitment. Once educated on RezA, advisors tell us how much they love the platform’s intuitive design to quickly make a booking and how easy it is to use. It’s saving our advisors a phone call and improving the way they interact with their clients, which is exactly what they’ve asked for,” said Michelle Lardizabal, chief sales officer, Azamara Cruises.
Features of the new system, including the ability to send payment links, expedited commission payments, automated payment reminders, easy duplication of reservations and more, enhance efficiency and the user experience, all from direct feedback from travel advisers.

Dec 8, 2025Peru’s New Airport Plans to Welcome More Travelers to Cusco and Beyond
As of now, travelers visiting Cusco and Peru’s Sacred Valley typically fly in and out of Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport, but that’s all about to change. In late 2026 the new Chinchero International Airport is slated to open and replace the existing Cusco airport (CUZ). Currently, international travelers typically fly into Lima’s Jorge Chávez International Airport and then connect to CUZ, but once Chinchero opens, it will offer more direct flights to Cusco and the Sacred Valley. The new airport, not yet assigned an IATA code, will be eight times larger than the existing airport, with the intent to increase flight capacity and provide an easier way to visit the popular destination.
