Allianz Partners USA just launched a new service, allowing customers traveling to more than 85 foreign countries to access both virtual and in-person medical care quickly and easily. As part of Allianz’s continued effort to provide solutions to meet today’s traveler’s needs, this new feature provides inspired customers with an additional way to access insurance benefits and take care of common illnesses and injuries (non-medical emergencies) they may experience while traveling, such as migraines or stomach bugs.

Available via the Allyz mobile app, the new digital appointment booking capability will send customers traveling to eligible countries an email shortly before their trip to remind them of services in case they need to find them during their travels. Customers can also contact the Allianz Partners USA Travel Assistance team at any time during their trip. This team will advise and aid the traveler to ensure an appropriate doctor visit is scheduled, either virtually or in person, depending on customer preference and country availability.

Doctor appointments can be scheduled via the digital booking tool embedded in the app. Multilingual doctors are available, and there are no up-front, out-of-pocket costs to customers for medical consultations for up to three doctor visits per person per trip.
