EL AL Israel Airlines and Alaska Airlines announced an expanded frequent-flyer agreement, in addition to a recent codeshare agreement.

Now, customers continue their journey to and from North America and Israel with connections on both airlines in either direction. Both airlines offer loyalty members the choice to earn miles for the other’s program.

EL AL flights currently operate three times weekly between Tel Aviv (TEL) and San Francisco (SFO). A Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft serves the route with economy, business and premium-class service. The flights depart Tel Aviv Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 1:05 a.m. and arrive in San Francisco the same day, at 6 a.m., for a 15-hour flight time. Return flights from San Francisco to Israel operate Monday, Wednesday and Saturday, departing San Francisco in the evening.
