Air New Zealand is rolling out a major cabin refresh across its long-haul fleet, and its 777-300ER aircraft will be the next to receive upgrades. Beginning in late May 2027, the airline’s Business Premier and economy cabins on these aircraft will get a full redesign, bringing them in line with Air New Zealand’s recently retrofitted 787-9s.

The aircraft’s Business Premier will undergo a total transformation to a modern, forward-facing, “reverse herringbone” format, offering more personal space, comfort and privacy. Passengers can expect individual privacy doors on all seats, sliding dividers for center seats, and an 18-inch entertainment screen.
In the economy cabin, passengers will experience brand-new, ergonomically designed seats from ZIM. The cabin also includes a 13-inch screen and options for both standard seats and Economy Stretch rows.

Across both cabins, passengers will also get upgraded in-flight entertainment screens, Bluetooth audio connectivity and USB ports at every seat.
