Art Reef Underwater Exhibition

This one-of-a-kind underwater art exhibit in Algarve, Portugal, is only visible by diving to the location through a charter with Algarve Charters or Easy Divers. From Portuguese artist Alexandre Farto (also known as Vhils), the installation incorporates repurposed industrial materials from coal-powered stations that have transitioned to using renewable technologies. Over time, the installation’s 13 pieces will become an ecosystem for marine life.
