Xiamen Airlines’ newest trans-Pacific route will take passengers from Fuzhou (FOC) in southeast China to New York (JFK).
The flight, launched last week, took off from Fuzhou, the capital of the Fujian province and arrived in New York after a 14.5-hour flight.
The new flight will operate three times a week on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday with return flights leaving New York at 12:55 on the same days. A Boeing 787 Dreamliner will service the route.
The carrier launched flights to Seattle (SEA) in 2016 and its trans-Pacific expansion will continue in June with services to Los Angeles (LAX).
