In celebration of its 25th anniversary, Wild Planet Adventures is releasing several new eco-tours and safaris to observe rare animals in some of the world’s most isolated locations.
The company has won multiple awards from National Geographic for its trips to Thailand, India, Brazil, Panama and Zambia. This season, the schedule “is packed with more of our signature wildlife features than ever before,” says Josh Cohen, director.
Trips will include exclusive site access, specially-arranged activities to glimpse rare animals, a focus on remote and non-commercial destinations, naturalist and biologist guides with advanced tracking skills and carbon-neutral safaris emphasizing sustainability and conservation.
The line-up includes trips to the famous “Lost World” of Borneo; an Africa trip combining South Africa’s virtually unknown “Green Kalahari” with Uganda’s most in-depth gorilla trek; the world’s most comprehensive Antarctic cruise to South Georgia Island and the Falklands; and two different Thailand eco-safaris.
Trips generally last between nine and 19 days. Throughout the year, Wild Planet Adventures will also offer special rates in honor of its 25th anniversary.
