Virgin Atlantic will grow its services between the United States and the United Kingdom with two new direct flights. The carrier will offer seasonal service on Thursdays between Belfast (BFS) and Orlando (MCO) from June 25 and provide flights on Thursdays between Glasgow (GLA) and Las Vegas (LAS) from Sept. 10. Both routes will be operated with Boeing 747-700 aircraft, configured with 14 seats in business class. “I am delighted we are able to offer customers in Northern Ireland and Scotland the opportunity to travel on Virgin Atlantic to two of our most popular leisure destinations next summer,” said Craig Kreeger, chief executive, Virgin Atlantic. “It’s incredibly important to us to offer customers from all across the U.K. access to our long-haul network during peak travel periods — and now even more people can enjoy the Virgin Atlantic renowned customer experience as they travel on their holidays.”
