Looking forward to spring, Wyoming — home to both Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton National Park — is rolling out the welcome mat.

When it comes to outdoor adventure, Wyoming has all the bases covered. Camp in ready-made campgrounds or rough it in the backcountry at a spot of their own choosing. Seeking soft adventure? Consider an RV or one of the region’s many hotels then set out to discover hiking trails, guided horseback tours, bird-watching or rock climbing.

As the days get longer and the weather gets warmer, head for the lakes and rivers for a bit of aqua adventure in the form of kayaking, canoeing, water skiing or fishing. History and culture buffs can satisfy their curiosity at museums, participating in a historically accurate wagon ride, checking out a rodeo or checking into a dude ranch.
