It’s about to get easier to take enhanced, wide-angle photos on your travels. Tamron announced plans to develop a new, ultra-wideangle zoom lens for full-frame DSLR cameras, the world’s first. Price and launch date are still to be determined.
Since 2012, Tamron focused on expanding its line-up of interchangeable lenses for 35mm full-frame DSLR cameras, to much acclaim. The company spearheaded the ultra-wideangle lens with image stabilization features.
The new lens will feature a number of innovative highlights:
• Superb image quality and performance
• Prominent competence of vibration compensation when shooting night scenes and under low light conditions
• Fluorine coating on the front element, Tamron’s first
• Improved broad-band anti-reflection coating
• Easy-to-use autofocus
• Comes with Silkypix Developer Studio for Tamron, RAW image processing software customized for Tamron SP lenses
