SkyTeam is celebrating its 15^th anniversary. Founded in 2000 by AeroMéxico, Air France, Delta Air Lines and Korean Air, the global airline alliance today comprises 20 global airlines serving more than 1,000 destinations worldwide.

“In 15 years of our operations, we have grown and deepened cooperation between our members, covering over 90 percent of the most important traffic flows globally,” said Mauro Oretti, vice president marketing and commercial synergies, SkyTeam.

“Last year, more than 26 million passengers used at least two or more SkyTeam carriers to complete their journeys. • SkyTransfer, providing seamless and efficient transfers for passengers and their baggage between member airlines;
• SkyTeam exclusive lounges in Sydney (SYD), London (LHR) and Istanbul (IST), with Hong Kong (HKG) due to open later this year and Dubai (DXB) and Beijing (PEK) scheduled for 2016;
• Yoga on the Go, an exclusive SkyTeam program developed to help customers stay fit and healthy on their travels;
• Multi-carrier award booking tools available online or via the carrier’s mobile app.
