Holiday Inn Expands in Brazil

InterContinental Hotels Group Latin America is continuing its expansion of the Holiday Inn brand in Brazil with the opening of the Holiday Inn Salvador Bahia. With 225 guestrooms and 25 suites, the Holiday Inn Salvador Bahia features high-speed Internet access, a bar, a fitness center, a business center, a restaurant and an outdoor swimming pool. Located in Brazil’s original capital, Salvador, the new hotel is next to the city’s main convention center. “Our goal is to continue to capitalize on the growth of the midscale hotel market in Latin America,” said Alvaro Diago, area president of InterContinental Hotels Group Latin America.
