Wyndham Hotels Brand’s China Debut

Wyndham Hotel Group has launched the Wyndham Hotels and Resorts brand in China with the opening of the brand’s first property in Xiamen in Fujian province. The newly built 588-room 5-star hotel is located in Xiamen’s booming business and shopping district. The Wyndham Xiamen also overlooks picturesque Gulagyu Island, which is famous for its colonial architecture. Guestrooms include 161 suites, 216 non-smoking rooms and 130 serviced apartments ranging in size from 46 square metres to 99 square metres. Wyndham Hotel Group already has 175 franchised hotels in China under its Days Inn, Ramada, Howard Johnson and Super8 brands.
