Renaissance debuted in Poland recently with the Renaissance Warsaw Airport Hotel. Part of a pipeline of 16 new Renaissance properties opening over the next year, it is one of several aimed at revamping the airport hotel experience.
”As global air travel demand continues to grow, there is an increasing opportunity to reimagine airport hotels through clever, theatrical design and engaging guest experiences,” said George Fleck, vice president of global brand marketing and management, Renaissance Hotels. ”We are thrilled to introduce Renaissance Warsaw Airport Hotel, whose design coupled with our savvy Navigators and entertaining Evening Bar Rituals provides an open invitation to experience something a little unexpected during our guests’ travels.”
Beyond easy access to the airport, the property is near business parks and Warsaw’s city center. The 225 guestrooms and suites boast modern interiors with graphic art from the Polish Poster Gallery.
In addition to the lobby, social spaces include the signature restaurant offering Polish cuisine and the hotel bar with a full calendar of events. The wellness area includes a spa and pool. Meeting space includes conference facilities, seven meeting rooms, an outdoor terrace and main ballroom.

It was more than a car journey; it was a transition between worlds. At our first hotel in Siem Reap, huge coaches constantly pulled up outside the lobby to deposit or receive international tour groups; we departed in very different style, in a 1965 black Mercedes limousine once owned by King Sihanouk. The mundanities of mass tourism were left behind. We progressed through the chaotic Cambodian streets in regal comfort and soon arrived at a solid gate.
