Fresh from Down Under is a brand new design for Australia-based Qantas Airways. From the cabin to the plane´s exterior paint job, Qantas underwent a major makeover.
The airline’s previous three of five designs featured a white kangaroo on a red background. The new logo, painted onto both the tail of the plane and inside the side wings, keeps the kangaroo but removes the animal’s front paws and shades away the distinct features on the roo’s snout and head. “Qantasi05/” is still written on the side of the plane, but the typeface is no longer italicized and the color is lighter.
The cabins of the airline’s new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners will accommodate 236 passengers in three classes: business, premium economy and economy. Each economy seat will be equipped with USB ports, seatback mood lighting and a net footrest.
In business class, seats can be fully reclined during takeoff and landing, and will feature dividing partitions to separate travelers and provide privacy.
