PONANT, a luxury-yacht cruise and expedition company, combines the sounds of the sea with the sounds of classical music this summer on three unique cruises.

The luxury small cruise company will partner with French classical radio channel Radio Classique for three cruises in the Mediterranean and Northern Europe. Renowned classical artists will accompany cruise guests onboard, such as cellist, Ophélie Gaillard; bass opera singer and maestro, Ruggero Raimondi; and pianist, Kathia Buniatishvili.

The first musical cruise voyage, the North Sea and Baltic cruise, will sail May 8–16 to the theme of Mozart and company, between Portsmouth and Stockholm. Along with exciting ports of call and world-class service and amenities, the cruise will feature private recitals of Mozart, Beethoven and Tchaikovsky every evening.

The Recitals at Sea itinerary, set to sail June 6–13, will feature a piano festival at sea theme, where guests can discover the eastern Mediterranean between Venice and Athens while enjoying the sounds of classical piano.

The third itinerary, named The Most Beautiful Ancient Sites, will sail Sept. 26–Oct. 3, from Greece to Italy via the beautiful island of Santorini. On board this musical journey will be famous opera singer Ruggero Raimondi.
