La Compagnie, a new business-class-only airline offering flights between New York (EWR) and Paris (CDG), opens for reservations beginning July 22.
Though its point-to-point route between Paris and New York will remain steady, La Compagnie’s trans-Atlantic service will grow over the remainder of 2014 with flights offered two times weekly through July, and increasing to four times weekly in August and six times weekly in September. Daily flights are scheduled to begin in November.
La Compagnie will begin operations with a single Boeing 757-200 aircraft painted its signature baby blue and powered by Rolls Royce engines. The aircraft accommodates 74 passengers in lie-flat seats set in a 2-2 configuration. Passengers have access to individual Samsung Galaxy tablets uploaded with movies, music, information and news.
Book travel for July or August to take advantage of a round-trip fare of $1,378 per person or $2,014 for two traveling together.
