National Geographic Expeditions announced it acquired Global Adrenaline, a full-service tour operator that designs, plans and operates customized trips for groups and independent travelers on all seven continents.
The transaction is a key part in National Geographic’s overall growth plan for its travel initiatives.
Global Adrenaline has been a partner for more than a decade on several land-based National Geographic Expeditions itineraries. The acquisition of the tour-operating company provides National Geographic with a platform for its own call center, allows it to significantly expand its land-based trip offerings and increase its portfolio of travel offerings. Existing partnerships with Lindblad Expeditions in small ship cruising, TCS World Travel in private jets and other relationships in key travel segments remain an important part of future growth plans.

Global Adrenaline’s mission since its founding in 2001 has been to create once-in-a-lifetime travel experiences that inspire travelers to positively impact the world around them, and the company’s new partnership with National Geographic Expeditions will further expand this mission.
