MSC Cruises unveiled details about its next generation Seaside class of ships, scheduled to debut in November 2017. Named MSC Seaside, the ultramodern class is expected to sail year-round from Miami to the Caribbean.
Featuring accommodations for up to 4,140 guests, MSC Seaside will offer the most interactive and originally designed aqua park at sea, featuring five water slides and attractions for all ages. Unique features of the ship will include slideboarding, a waterslide and interactive video game all-in-one that allows guests to race down a two-story, 367-foot slide on a sleekly designed raft with an embedded game controller equipped with colored buttons; dueling high-speed AquaTubes, enabling guests to race against other guests; an AquaPlay area designed specifically for tots; and an Adventure Trail ropes course allowing guests to cross between soaring towers, rope bridges, climbs, crawl-throughs and slides.
MSC Cruises currently operates a fleet of 12 modern ships, sailing through the Mediterranean and seasonally in the French Antilles, northern Europe, the Atlantic Ocean, South Africa and South America, as well as in Dubai, the Emirates and Oman.
