ME Mallorca, a luxury lifestyle hotel, re-opened for its summer season in the Balearic Islands with a series of new music, fitness and food events.

Located on one of Mallorca’s beaches and only 25 minutes from central Palma, ME Mallorca offers a chilled-out haven near Calvia. The hotel collaborated with Suburban Music to offer guests the opportunity to experience sessions with top DJs. In collaboration with Body Active Palma, guests can enjoy a variety of fitness classes from yoga on the beach to Pilates, cross fit or electro stimulation.

The property recently introduced Barbarossa, a new pool bar and restaurant featuring sophisticated fine dining to include authentic Italian pizza and a selection of steaks. The restaurant is available to hotel residents, locals and other tourists. On Pez Playa’s Beach, guests can order beachside snacks including salads, sandwiches and detox juices.

The hotel boasts 256 spacious rooms, including 34 ME+ suites and Suite ME with breathtaking seafront views. The ground-floor suites include a private garden with direct pool access while the bedrooms feature a clean and minimalist aesthetic with contemporary furnishings like mood-lighting, luxury rain showers and stand-alone bath tubs.

ME Mallorca’s summer season runs April–October, with rates beginning at $250.

The ME by Meliá brand celebrates its 10-year anniversary this year through a series of events across all brand properties. ME Miami hosted a number of parties on its rooftop during Miami Music Week in March, followed by ME Madrid’s celebrations on its newly renovated Radio Rooftop Bar in April.

In honor of the milestone Me Mallorca will host a series of parties throughout the summer, which kicked off June 10, with #10YearsofME. The hotel will bring Secret Sundaze to the Balearics on July 1, with beats from one of the top DJs in underground electronic music, Patrice Scott, and London-based Indie Electro Pop band Monarchy will play on Aug. 5.

The brand is continuing to expand with openings in key markets like ME Dubai, which is set to launch in 2018, and ME Sitges in September 2017.
