Malaysia Airlines and independent lounge operator Plaza Premium formed a new partnership deal that allows all Malaysia Airlines’ economy passengers passing through London Heathrow Terminal 4 to receive a 20 percent discount on lounge use.
Malaysia offers Golden Lounges in several airports, including London Heathrow, but these are exclusive to the airline’s business- and first-class passengers.
Customers wanting to use the Plaza Premium lounge can pre-book entry online or can simply arrive at the lounge check-in desk and present a boarding pass.
Plaza Premium Lounge is also in the process of launching a new arrivals lounge in T4 that will be ready by the first quarter of this year. It will be able to accommodate 75 people and offer 18 showers. The company will roll out its “healthy eating” Flight Club concept in this new lounge. It first launched in Kuala Lumpur in 2015.

It was more than a car journey; it was a transition between worlds. At our first hotel in Siem Reap, huge coaches constantly pulled up outside the lobby to deposit or receive international tour groups; we departed in very different style, in a 1965 black Mercedes limousine once owned by King Sihanouk. The mundanities of mass tourism were left behind. We progressed through the chaotic Cambodian streets in regal comfort and soon arrived at a solid gate.
