Lufthansa will soon offer a new à la carte dining option for economy and premium-economy passengers on long-haul flights.
Starting in May, customers have the option to choose from among seven meals between €13–33, with choices including grilled steak, a Japanese Bento Box, “hearty Bavarian snacks,” an Asian “vitality” menu with quinoa, Mediterranean pasta with shrimp and Thai curry.
The meals will be offered on almost all of the carrier’s intercontinental flights from Frankfurt and Munich and can be ordered at lufthansa.com up to 24 hours before departure.
The airline says the à la carte options are offered in addition to existing food and drink menus in economy and premium-economy classes.
